ABOUT DANCE VIDEO BELOW:

I been wanting to work on this song for the longest time when it first came out. Choreographed a dance to it for class one day, but scrapped it soon after just because I felt it wasn’t as stylized as I wanted it to be. Once I decided to have Chapter1NE here in the Northwest exhibition for WOD Seattle 2014 months later, I chose to try attacking this again. I rarely get to perform, let alone with the people I dance with at home so the song was perfect. Representing with my team on a stage where I get to showcase my latest. Just made sense..from the garage to the WOD stage where I have watched many inspirational dancers/dance teams on the youtube showcase through my years of growing as the dancer I am now. I feel the dancers in my video even represented well as hungry/driven individuals. Glad to have watch them grow where I come from as dancers..

So knowing WOD was coming up the following weekend when I decided to do this song. I choreographed/staged it in a day because I didn’t have time to sit on it..I mean like I had a week and only one day in the week to teach/practice it with everyone before performing it hahaha. Which I am completely fine with because it was natural movement that flowed. Everything was off that moment in time and not too planned out. Was even able to experiment with my style little more. Obviously after WOD I added a little more to the staging for the sake of this video, but I feel good about the way the dance turned out.
